Have fruit instead of coffee. An apple instead of a smoke.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your brain is a super automator.<\/strong> Decisions you often make, become automatic. <em>Let&#8217;s call them habits.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Some times when you believe you are still in power of making a decision, your brain is already in auto-mode though. Sneaky, eh? A trigger got you to perform a habit. You don&#8217;t have to think about it &#8211; that&#8217;s what makes it a habit, right? Buckling your seatbelt when you get in the car, etc. So I guess we can all agree on:<\/p>\n<p><strong>We are what we repeatedly to and therefore creatures of habit!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you dont believe me, you should read\u00a0<em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Power-Habit-What-Life-Business\/dp\/1400069289\">The Power of Habit<\/a>, by\u00a0Charles Duhigg and\u00a0<em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Willpower-Rediscovering-Greatest-Human-Strength\/dp\/1594203075\">Willpower<\/a>, by\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.ca\/s\/185-7475681-6880125?_encoding=UTF8&amp;search-alias=books-ca&amp;field-author=Roy%20F.%20Baumeister\">Roy F. Baumeister<\/a>\u00a0&amp;\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.ca\/s\/185-7475681-6880125?_encoding=UTF8&amp;search-alias=books-ca&amp;field-author=John%20Tierney\">John Tierney<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em><\/em>These books helped me understand habits and their creation better.<\/p>\n<p>Experimenting with my own habits with\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/rehabit.me\">rehabit.me<\/a>\u00a0has been fun so far.
